Tandem skydiving for the first time is the kind of experience that you’re going to keep close to your heart forever. Luckily, there’s a way you can do that — by making sure to get it all on video! At Paraclete XP, we have a staff of high-flying photographers/videographers ready to do just that. Here’s how that will make your first-time skydive even better.
There are some moments in life that only happen one single time: a first kiss as a married couple, first steps, holding a new baby for the flag or the moment a graduate walks across the stage with a freshly earned diploma. As you can see, there’s definitely a theme to these moments, and many others like them.
Firsts never happen twice. So, if you’re squaring up to a first, you want to make sure it’s captured on record forever. The exact same thing is true for skydiving. Even if you skydive for fifty years straight after you do that first one, you’ll never make your very first tandem skydive again. We’re sure you’ll agree that’s reason enough to get video.
This might sound a little crazy, but trust us on this. First-time tandem skydivers who opt out of video for their skydive are regretful of the decision. We’re sad about it for them, but once it’s a done deal, there’s no way we can rewind that skydive and roll the camera. We see this kind of regret every single day at the dropzone — lots of folks think that they don’t want to spend a little more to have the proof. As it turns out, they do but just too late. Don’t let that be you.
Do you know what’s even more impressive than being a freefall athlete? Being a freefall athlete with a camera on your head. To do that, you have to freefall relative to a tandem pair that’s clocking 120 miles per hour. Then, you fly your own body while also keeping the subject in frame, manipulating multiple cameras, communicating with the tandem instructor and all the while keeping a cheerful smile on your face. Easy? No.
Our aerial photo/videographers at Paraclete XP are incredible athletes (and artists)! We compensate them according to their high value — a philosophy we’re sure you’re going to agree with.
Jumping out of a plane for the first time is a herculean feat of faith and personal power. This is a moment you’re going to want to revisit when you’re feeling not-so-fierce. So don’t stop yourself from giving it a go — or getting the photos and videos to love and share! Make your reservation today.
