Are They a USPA Group Member Dropzone?

The USPA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that sets training and safety standards for the sport. Instructors & Staff 

The USPA sets minimum standards and requirements for each instructional rating as well. Instructors must complete annual proficiency checks and stay current with training. At Skydive Paraclete, our instructors not only meet these requirements, they often exceed them. 

To become a tandem instructor, for example, you need at least 500 skydives, three years in the sport, successful completion of a certified tandem instructor course, and an FAA medical certificate. Let’s be real, you’ll likely be spending a few hours at the dropzone. The operation is fluid, so we advise our tandem students to plan on being here for half a day. Between check-in, training, and possible weather delays, your visit could run longer. That’s why having a clean, comfortable environment makes a big difference.
