Operations During COVID-19

Monday, March 16, 2020

The mission of Skydive Paraclete XP is to offer a world-class skydiving experience utilizing elite instructors, aircraft, and equipment in order to enjoy life’s greatest adventure, safely. Undeniably, the world has been jarred by the events of the past week with a word we’ve all become far too familiar with: coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Having monitored the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, we’ve made the careful decision to continue our operations. This decision has not been made lightly as the safety of our staff and guests is paramount to us. It is our belief that by exhibiting greater caution, as described by health resources above, we can continue to operate.

We are encouraging any and all staff and guests to err on the side of caution as it relates to their health. If any are feeling unwell, staff are asked to stay home and guests are asked to reschedule their skydives.

Handwashing has been emphasized as has the placement of sanitizer throughout our facilities. More rigorous cleaning of our aircraft has been incorporated as well as the sanitization of skydiving equipment used by guests and staff.

Additionally, standard social practices such as handshaking and high-fives in celebration of skydives have been discouraged.

We are committed to doing all we can to protect our guests and fellow team members responsibly.

Our approach is to move forward with caution and without panic. Stay safe!

Blue skies,

I did my fist tandem jump yesterday with Jon. It was one the best things I have ever done in my life. I wish to thank everyone there for their professionalism and yet you made it so much like being a part of team and a family.
