Friday, September 8, 2017

It’s getting exciting! Competitors from around the nation have already begun gathering here at Skydive Paraclete XP for the 2017 USPA National Parachuting Championships beginning THIS weekend!

USPA holds two national events a year – a freefall skydiving event that includes all formation skydiving, vertical formation skydiving, artistic, speed, and wingsuiting events. The Parachuting Championships beginning this weekend will include parachuting disciplines: Classic Accuracy, Sport Accuracy, Canopy Formation (CRW), and Canopy Piloting.

The exciting week of parachuting events from canopy formations in the sky to high speed landings over the pond will take place as follows:

Weather does effect skydiving activities, especially Parachuting events. We’re keeping our eye while Hurricane Irma makes landfall over the weekend. You too can keep your eye on the forecast HERE. Links to follow scores, updates, and more will be posted on our Facebook page.

Spectators are welcome and if any press is interested in covering the event, please contact us here!
